RECIPES: PEPPER STEAK

Pepper Steak


Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. round steak cut into strips
1/4 cup olive oil (I used coconut oil)
1/4 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 green bell peppers, cut into slices
3 celery stalk diced
1 cup beef bouillon (I used the 1&half cube)
1 tbsp. soy sauce

Directions:

  • Cut round steak into 1” long strips, about 1/8” thick.
  • In a large skillet, over medium-high heat
  • heat oil and black pepper. Add steak and stir-fry until meat is brown, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in onion and garlic. Then add peppers and celery. Pour in bouillon and soy sauce.
  • Cover pan, reduce heat to medium, and cook until meat and vegetables are tender about 10 minutes.
